About Avenue Dental: Private one dentist Dental Practice. Established Practice that is conveniently located close to Exit 13 off GA400 on Hwy 141 . South Forsyth & North Fulton Counties . . . We are close to Collection and Halcyon, however, on a typical day we are thankful to have little to no traffic to worry about! Job Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Dental Assistants are expected to effectively and efficiently perform all or some of the following: Patient management including communicating with Front Desk Lead Coordinator. Dental digital charting of patient's pre-existing and accurate inputting of patient progress notes. Providing patients with post-op instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling). Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth). Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Taking digital x-rays, collecting and recording patient health histories. Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol, and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Monitor equipment for all operatories, accurate completion, and follow-up of repair logs. Completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks including autoclave testing and cleaning of traps. Assisting with monthly supply orders. Assisting clinic with recall and treatment plan reports, when requested. Responsible for adhering to all government and company regulations. Helping to provide direct patient care in the dental office. Minimum Qualifications: Self-starter with a minimum of two years' Dental Assisting experience and a winning attitude. 3 References (One Dental Employer Contact & Resume Should Be Sent To Our Offices.
