This is a rewarding part-time Dentist opportunity for an existing clinician to pick up additional hours aiding the pediatric community. Candidates will need to have a passion for providing care to school children and YMCAs. The mobile unit will travel to areas from Lehigh Valley to Minersville, Jim Thorpe, or the most Northern point, Lehighton. In a General/Pediatric Dentist career with LVHN, you’ll experience: -Providing preventive and restorative dental care on the new Miles for Smiles mobile unit. -Collaborating with mobile staff team and work with the dental medicine staff of 55 Dentist, 21 clinical staff, and 8 residents. -A mobile staff of a hygienist, mobile driver/registration specialist, and dental assistant. -Seeking a dentist open to work part time (21 hours a week) or per diem; Open to dentist's available days during the week. -Pediatric patients need screening exams from local schools and YMCA facilities. Qualifications: -Need to have completed their residency training -Will consider new grad of residency program or minimum of 2 years in private practice -Procedures required: preventive, restorative, and oral surgery -Must have experience and a passion working with children Individuals are required to adhere to all LVHN vaccination policies in effect at the time of hire. The Orthodontic Assistant will assist Orthodontists' chair side, greet and escort patients, take radiographs as instructed by the provider, set up and break down operatories, clean operatory areas after each patient, and will stock all materials needed in the clinic daily. In addition, the Orthodontics Assistant will be responsible for sterilization and maintaining equipment and materials in accordance with OSHA, federal and state guidelines. The Orthodontics Assistant will support the front desk operations, schedule appointments, check in patients, collect, and verify patient demographics, retrieve charts, document treatments plans and other tasks in support of office administration.
